As we drive through the deserted towns, nothing but the sky glaring down at us
We wonder where everyone is.
Guessing that everyone has locked themselves away,
waiting for the heat of the day to pass.
As we drive around and around the never-ending loops of roads
going through miniscule towns...peaceful yet beautiful
so little compared to the mountains towering over us
clunk, clunk, clunk goes the van begging for mercy
