Screams echoed in the midnight air,
What a filthy moment of despair.
With a drenched deck and no control,
The cruise was going full and whole.
The forlorn sailor was deeply devastated,
Was nothing he could do,
Although he had a choice, to die, to live or to save this canoe.
"You're the only hope!" yelled the captain over the storm,
"You have to save us in any form!"
Hope he had long lost, yet he kept on going,
For all those jolly memories, he was heavily towing.
One moment came and he thought, 'it's now or never',
He heaved and heaved to overcome this endeavour.
For what he conquered may god bless him, It was miraculous, when the chances were so dim.
