I’m a protector from monsters, I’m a catcher of tears.
I’m a safe place, I make your worries disappear.
My eyes they shine with love, my heart full of secrets.
I hear the whispers late at night and come with you to shield the fights.
My beige brown fur matted from many years with you,
As time went on, our bond, it grew.
My button eyes have experienced wonders
But also braved the peaceless thunders.
I picture laying on the grass, staring at the open plains.
Days on days adventures and treasures and don’t forget the great endeavours.
As you grow that bond will fade and embarrassment will take its place.
Always remember my love for you will always stay as good as new.
