I can feel the earth, rushing through my veins,
Ancestors calling me, "Protect it in my name"
The soft lush grass, the gentle chilly breeze,
Whistling and weaving, bounding through the trees
The crunch of pebbles underneath my feet,
So many colours, red, yellow and green
Large oval leaves, full of yellow wattles
A sight to behold ,as they fall and tumble
Pines, oaks, and eucalyptus too,
So many species, I can't count them through
Growing, thriving, reaching towards the sky,
Yearning for the food, the sun's rays provide
Rosella's and magpies, bird calls rows on rows,
Soaring and diving as the forest floor grows
I can feel the earth, rushing through my veins,
Ancestors calling me, "Protect it in my name"
