When I Write

When I write I feel free
The pen is my voice,
my thoughts, my compass
The blank page is a world of exploration
The words flow, the words click
A puzzle I need to fit together
Before I know it, my feet have left the ground
And I am flying, or dancing or a viking sailing the seas.
When I write,
anything can happen.
When I write,
everything makes sense.
When I write,
I can be anything.
When I write,
I CAN be free.
