The Knockdown

The duplex has got so old
About 30 years… that’s way too old.
But the builder has got to get a bit brave
To knock it down … just before his shave.
It’s a knockdown house, everyone has heard
And it will fall… after his word.
He’s got too excited for it
His mouth stinks, so he needs a breath mint.
He says, just before the knockdown net,
Uh oh. I haven’t got the machine yet.
