Thankless we are
For those we want but do not deserve.
All the things we crave but can't reach.
To lose the sun, how ungrateful we are.
The glossy, majestic rays of pure gold that used to indemnify us
enriching each and every day of our lives.
To say goodbye to the sun, dare I say… a friend, a light in the cosmic darkness
We were ungracious hosts to the one thing we needed most.
Forced out by society’s pettiness.
Goodbye we say, to our dearest aurora of light
Today, tomorrow forever.
We have now turned to the dark side
Never to return
