The eyelids stare back,
As your curtains bind.
The mirage of the mind,
fragmented by static black.
When you close your eyes,
to enter a vision that's lost.
Body alone, no one to boss.
Fading trust, touch eludes its love of worldly synchronise.
Close our eyes, why don't we all.
Greeted with our unique abyss, there seen,
Soon lulled by fantasies that "could have been."
And over again, our void to catch our fall.
When you close your eyes.
An onslaught of shadows, so supreme,
Working together in the churning of dreams.
embrace eyes open, to mind it all materialise.
