The soft sand at my feet,
the gentle breeze is swaying.
The brushing of the palm trees,
the seal that is laying.
As the water crashes on the shore,
the seaweed lies there coiled.
A crab reaches out to it,
then a story is embroiled.
The seal opens his rested eyes,
and sees the crab running.
He joins in tail and flippers,
the image is so intriguing.
Now as the seal and crab,
lie blissfully on the shore.
I watch them sleeping peacefully,
and hope they'll play some more.
