Dogs And Cats - The War

Dogs like to chew on shoes and caps.
Cats like long, quiet snoozing naps.
These two animals both have fur,
but only one knows how to purr.
Oh no! The dog and cat have opened the door!
This only means one thing. It's WAR!
Cats hate dogs and dogs hate cats,
oh boy! Oh no! Dog gets a bat.
Dog hits cat and cat meows.
Cat gets a bomb and goes KAPOW!
The dog is worn out and the cat is too.
What were they ever going to do?
They fight some more and then they see,
Why fight when there is harmony?
They thought of ways to get along
and in the end they played ping pong.
