Restless turns of abandon,
Tossed between reality and the everlasting lure of sweet-laced whispers.

Stuck between worlds,
A teasing nudge of fleeting smiles
Lost abyss of shifting timespans
Fighting for sweet release;

Freefall;
Alone,
Broken peace with bitter thoughts
Tinted glass with words unsaid;

Swirling wisps of past and present dissipate;
Left is the conceivable-
And time;
A carousel in moonlight,
With all that could have been.
