As I run through the battlefield
My heart is pounding
Will someone save me
Or will I die with these surroundings
Guns being shot
Bring up some bad memories
People are gone
Because of these enemies
I try to find safety
But they’re everywhere
There are no safe spots
So families are being teared
I wish this was a dream
Cuddled up in my warm bed
Listening to my family laugh
But it is all in my head
