Beneath the sky at 5:53,
Underneath a maple tree,
With the blue that falls by my side,
I’ll wait for you,
Across dimensions and lifetimes over and over.
Once you’re ready to fall in love again,
I promise I’ll answer.
I’ll pretend to not know the warmth from your embrace,
I’ll forget the maple tree under the sky in 5:53 where I discovered you and I.
I’ll meet you after time passes,
And maybe,
Just maybe,
Fate will be kinder to us.
