Listen close listen dear
For darkness is close and near
Silently creeping close
So beware of the ghosts
But inside you there is a spark
Growing twisting and bright
Cautious of the night
So rest your bloody wings
While the night sings
Songs of joy and doubt
So there is no need to shout
Return to your sleep
Give a gentle peep
For you know your safe and sound
