It thrums and drums melodically,
Messy and muddled but never missing a beat,
A stampede, a march, a tango,
Lingering in an unstable chord,
But a resolution nowhere in sight,
It is melancholy, but I feel no remorse,
For the sound that I hear in my ear,
Is not the sound of the end of the world,
It is the sound of the end of mine
