Rain

He throws a tantrum, such a child!
From big and loud, to small and mild.
He sulks and cries, he screams and he'd wail, All the while, making a horrid gale.
Raining, spitting, falling fast,
Beating against the ship's mast,
Raging 'cross the empty street,
The end of it is such a treat.
He sits on a cloud, swathed in grey,
Intent on ruining our day,
The whole earth trembles,
As the storm approaches.
But some days he's quiet,
Not causing so much riot,
He lets the rays of sunlight through,
And all that's left is some dew.
