My "Summer"

As the wind breeze shivers my body
and blows through the layers of my hair
I watch the majestic sunset
and everything else that floats in the air
Looking back at the past degrees
I wonder is this even summer
With all the rain and cold
this month turns out to be a bummer
This is not summer
I'm telling you it should be fun
with the ice cream on the beach
spending a day out in the sun
I guess I can try to enjoy this
with the wind breeze in my hair
even just the sunset
and everything that floats in the air
