To pitiful man of solitude and sorrow,
droplets of salt and misery depict such a withering face,
eyes - lifeless and still, wishing for one’s warm embrace,
but I needn’t your rain clouds, as the sun shines past ‘morrow,
freely your tears let fall,
for blue skies full of warmth, unshackled by pain,
can only follow the torments of bleak grey horizons and nights of rain,
so weep my ami, weep for love, weep for loss, weep for it all,
as desolate silence, lacklustre and free of joy suffocates one’s ardour,
weep once more, for what was a last ‘mon amour’.
