Field With Flowers

There was once a war,
that was bad like some saw.
Lots of people did fight,
through day and through night.
The ships came to the cove,
from there they walked, not drove.
There were bangs in the air,
people died everywhere.
Some had a flicker of hope,
some would not cope.
There was a field with flowers
some say they have powers.
