I Love Australia
Kangaroos leap like ballerinas gliding high,
While famished dingos hope for some lunch.
Cockatoos fly so high they touch the sky.
Koalas sleep and munch on leaves in a bunch,
When platypuses playfully paddle around a peaceful pond.
The golden wattle shows its puffy and cute head.
The Opera house sparkles and people are fond,
And the Harbour Bridge, so big and wide, is ahead!
In the beaches, in gold, which have everyone between the flags.
Parents, late for work, need to hurriedly run
Before scolding kids to pack their school bags.
Children, laughing with jollity and mirth, had so much fun.
Australia is truly the best
From Gaia’s gifts to man made creations
And will never be your pest,
Always perfect in the following generations!
