My Home, My Australia

Sun rays glisten on the arid lands
Clouds as white as snow scattered like sand
“One small spark brought fire awake”
As everyone in fear began to shake
Flames stirred at the trunk of the tree,
As the beautiful birds flee
Koalas frantically scurry
As Kangaroos hurry
Fire consumed the luscious landscape
Everything was out of shape
The evil devil had no mercy
To reverse it back there was no key
Fire took my Australia … but not my home.
This is my luxuriant land, I will never leave it alone
No one can take this land away from me,
I am free!
