4:30am Dads alarm goes off
I know he mustn’t have the milking off
On goes the light
It still feels like night
Out the door he goes
In the wind that blows
Cows are waiting at the gate
Because Dad is always running late
Their udders feel like silk
But mostly full of Milk
Here comes the milk truck
Dad said it will give us another Buck
No time for Dad to eat his toast
The cows need their hay the most
I love our life on the farm
Maybe just not the 4:30 alarm
