FAREWELL MOTHER IRONBARK

Butterflies were fluttering
My words just did not stop stuttering
Eyes filled with tears
That was my first day under your wings

I am strong and I am respectful
I have grown tall and wise now
I am no longer muttering
With all those priceless memories under the native trees.

It’s time to show my gratitude to you for all you have done
I am eternally grateful to have you as my teachers
Farewell mother Ironbark
We are moving apart

Would you ever believe, you have a special place
In my heart, now and forever, which no one can replace
Farewell mother Ironbark
My whole journey was a blast
