A Hungry Little Mouse

A hungry little mouse running through the house,
Looking for a hiding place, when he sees a human face.
Searching for something to eat, he finds a piece of meat!
Seeing a closed door, squeeze between it and the floor.
Right outside there’s a trap, and jumps over without… SNAP!
Don’t know what to do, but finds a BBQ!
Climbs on top, because why not, and trips over don’t know what,
Landing in a pile of ash, now covered in it… SMASH!
Carefully climbs out of it, now taking a quiet sit!
Smelling something delicious, being quite ambitious,
Through the window he sees a whole bunch of cheese.
Can’t get through, so no cheese, even if he would please!
