Life’s Answer

The sun casts down its shine,
while the moon illuminates it own darkness.

When it’s time to sleep, others are awake.
When it’s time to rise, others are asleep.

Just as humans are brought to live, others are taken to rest.
Where do they go? Only they would know.

Do they rest beyond the universe,
or are they forever brought to silence?

So many questions but not enough answers.
However for life, it has its own answer.

It’s own job to spring beauty out of nothing,
and wilting beauty back to nothing.

As that is life’s answer to why we live,
to enjoy our own beauty before it is taken away and brought to life again.
