The sea roars, the billow of a thousand stories,
a thousand memories crushed into the sand,
a song of souls so old we can barely hear its tongue.
"Do you feel it?" I asked.
The salted breath of the deep blows into our faces,
sand and spray against skin.
It pulls and bows, a dare and a challenge,
"Do you feel it?"
We stand at the end of the world,
the end of our realm,
the end of life as we know,
there's a fire here, where nature meets nature and nature is raw,
"Do you feel it?"
A feeling in your depth, a wish and a yearning that burns as a fire in your soul,
For we are everything and all things and nothing at all.
"Do you feel it?"
