Winter On A Summers Day

When the suns out and the sky’s blue
Yet there’s nothing to do
The head is a room of blank empty space
And you yet sit so quietly in such grace
The grace which is numb, numb and frozen
Where the yellow sun and the blue sky,
Through the eyes look so drab
And all is felt is fragmented pieces of your soul
The aching feeling that your heart isn’t filled with blood
Although the skin is still smooth
The heart is already drained
The sinking in which is felt through all the streams which fueled the heart once
And the pains gone away
But you’re left with nothing to feel
Not even the warmth of the golden rays which shine on your face
When which you hear aren’t the sounds of chirping singing birds
But the sounds of silence, that high eerie pitch
In which your mind is in a state of where it recognises
Winter on a summers day
