And you’re that best friend that’s shaped over time
You love to dress carefully, accessorized with nervous eyes
Laughing and craving and hating all at once
Just say anything, teasingly even
So I’ll know where to go when I’m misplaced
(It’s your lies that ruin your talent to feel)
We sat on the roof for the 5th time that night
And you asked me for more, when I started to believe
So I asked, “Will we be here again?
Just you and me, the way it always was”
(It’s your certain ego that ruins your smile)
You insulted me again and I smiled at your undying scars
Waiting so impatiently for the feelings I deserved
And you laughed like; you’d created all my secrets
And you talked like; it was impossible to stop
And everything just fell into place again
