Evolution occurred
And made them grow.
Two powerful species,
But who would know

That in the end
One would fall,
Yet one would triumph,
Over them all.

Fighting to extinction,
With smarts over strength,
A shadow in the sky
Very long in length

A million arrows fly,
Sure to their mark.
The last of the dragons
dead, as the day grew dark.
