Fading mist,
Through tarnished tears;

Forgotten sorrows,
Fulfilled those years;

I stand mistaken,
And disbelieved;

Defacing all,
You promised me;

Reflections engraved,
Of scars and pain;

Images reveal,
Bloodshed through vein;

Misplaced identity,
Shadows betray;

Images through envy,
And mistaken shame.
