My backyard....australia

My backyard is,
Really quite a wizz.
My backyard has lots of trees.
And also lots of unwelcome fleas.
There's thousands of pets,
And just as many vets.
Some grass is dead.
And the soil is red.
The beaches are great,
In every single state.
The animals are beaut,
And most of them are cute.
Some places have greenery everywhere,
But other places are just quite bare.
My backyard sometimes has loud thunder.
And it's won the the nickname 'place down under.'
