School, homework, sports,
Friends, dances, boys.
Hair, make-up, styles,
Plenty of new toys.
These things seem so important
Yet you know they're really not.
So why do we try so hard,
By faking stuff a lot.
Even though there's so much
To think about and do,
It's still a fun time
For teenagers like me and you.
To survive these teenage years
Try not to be on the run.
Laugh and joke with friends,
And have tons of fun.
