Quietly

It was so quiet that I felt,
a gush of wind blowing on my skin
like a brush flowing through hair.
It was so gentle that I heard,
every blade of grass flowing in the wind, like an air conditioner blowing every strand of hair on everyone's head.
It was so quiet that I heard,
the hands on the clock ticking
like a hammer hitting a nail.
It was so tranquil that I heard,
a pen scraping on paper
like a scrubbing brush scraping the floor.
