Ned

There was a young lad Ned Kelly was his name
He had a bad reputation and he always got the blame.
Constable Fitzpatrick chased him night and day
But never could he catch him he always got away.
Ned started up a fearsome gang of both family and friends
And the money that they stole they always liked to spend.
They murdered lots of men and hostages they took
And they kept them in there hiding place just up the hill from the brook.
Ned’s life then ended at the Melbourne gaol
When he got hanged by the neck his face went pale.
Ned’s time had been filled with both fury and strife
And his famous last words were
SUCH IS LIFE.
