Fear is like a dark shroud
Closing in on a world of light.
Fear is like an angered bear
Just about to bite.
Hate is like a tortured soul
Falling into hell.
Hate is like a firestorm
Whose fury you must quell.
Laughter is like a light rain,
Tinkling softly as it lands.
Laughter is like a baby possum
All curled up in your hands.
Jealousy is desire.
Someone has achieved your goal.
Jealousy is like a fire
That burns dead within your soul.
Friendship is like an diamond chain
It can never be broken.
Friendship is something more than word,
Which can easily spoken.
Death is like a flock of crows
Landing on a cross.
Death is like a bells toll
To announce the peoples loss.
Life is like a fallen feather
Off a peaceful dove.
Life is when you quest
For someone else’s love.
Love is like a sparkling gem,
Glinting in the sun.
Love is like a golden thread
Waiting to be spun.
Arrogance is like a powerful king,
Letting his kingdom burn.
Arrogance is like a bright student,
Thinking he has nothing more to learn.
