Just like pizza

We talked over a slice of pizza
fresh from the oven.
The pizza was so cheesy, so delicious,
and pepperoni was scattered everywhere.
The pizza was just like our friendship.

The cheese, expanding over time,
is the trust.
The sad times, hard like the crust.
The sauce is where we talk
which is everywhere.
The pepperoni is the the secrets we share
that spice up our friendship
and make it the best.
Just like pizza.
