I sit here waiting
Till the day I see your face
Your eyes clouded by war
Forever I have faith.
Till the day I hold you tightly
I wipe your tears away
Celebrate your victory
No need to be afraid.
Till the day we can kiss again
And finally be free
No more bombs and no more pain
It will be, just you and me.
And now I sit here waiting
A flower across your chest
The chorus of gun shots fired
LEST WE FORGET.
