Ode to leaf

Your life involves colour,
But green is what you're known for.
You got millions of brothers and sisters,
That die by the day.

You need the sun,
As well as the shade;
But too much of both
Makes you die and blow away.

When autumn comes
It time to fall
You whoosh away
And find your grave.

Now you're turning brown
Your life cycle is done
You go up to heaven
Because the end has finally come.
