What the mind beholds, no one knows,
its little secrets lay hidden below.
It contains dreams and aspirations,
never known to man,
waiting to escape,
as fast as they can.
Memories so vivid, so perfect.
Glorious days when you conquered all,
and acted heroic.
You wonder and dream
to know what others are thinking,
to understand, how they're feeling.
But such is human nature
to wonder and to dream,
yet, truthfully,
no one knows, what the mind beholds.
