Memory

As far back as the eye can see,
A distant page in the memory,
I see child, a happy child,
One that could've been me,

As Near to now as I can be,
A farmiliar page in the memory,
I see a girl, a charming girl,
One that I know is me,

A look at my future, a look at me
A new page in the memory,
I see a Woman, a satisfied woman,
One that I know will be me

At the end of my life, I hope it will be,
A happy page in my memory,
I remember an image, a smiling image,
One that I'm glad was me.
