Short Story

2006
As the silver sailed ship drifts through the night
Lighting the land, showing former glory
Man ponders on the passing of his plights
When he has finished, who will tell his story?
As night turns to day, a new day dawns
One wonders of the darkness of the night
Contrast to now, lying with friends on the lawns
Man thinks of many a think that's not right
The big bright galleon of light floats by
And spirits soar high and free in true joy
No questions yet answers need supply
Man has naught to do except to enjoy
Darkness has claimed many a brave heart
Shine light though, and then the darkness shall part
