You try to catch them in your hands
And wonder;
wonder if you’d ever catch enough to fill up water supplies.
Then you think that’s kind of funny and that you’re pretty considerate,
so you feel that sensation that makes you laugh out loud. Ha ha ha.
And then you remember,
this isn’t why you were sitting out here with your tears gushing out.
So you close your eyes and you feel your entire body tense up.
Tense up so tight you almost give up breathing.
A sudden jerk of your body and you’re trying to muffle the sound that’s bursting out Of you, so reluctantly.
It’s becoming a routine. Your routine.
But no one knows. You don’t want anyone to.
Like the rain, you keep falling.
But you don’t know when you’ll stop.
Honestly, you’re not even sure if you want to.
