Happiness is a swoop in the stomache
When it bubbles with glee
Happiness is a feeling
That often happens to me.

Happiness is a feeling
When you want to jump for joy
Happiness is what you feel
When you get a brand-new toy.

Happiness is a feeling
When your dad comes home from war
Happiness is how you feel
When your parents don't fight anymore.

Happiness is a feeling
When love is all around
Happiness is how you feel
When your savior is found.
