Jack's animal

I know a man called Jack,
He has a problem with his back,
The doctor said to get an animal,

So he got a cat,
But the cat just lay on the mat,
So he went back to the pet shop,

And bought a dog,
But the dog sounded like a frog,
So he took it back too.

Then he bought a snake,
but the snake just ate cake!

Now he lives with a gold fish ,
And his back is great!
