Falling Water Is Not That Strong

The rain beats down hard,
washing away the filth;
Trying to replenish the non-existent trees,
They used to be here but now they are gone;
The sea in the sky does all it can,
To fulfill its ancient duty;
But falling water cannot prenetrate layer, Upon layer of concrete;
The wind blows spreading the rain,
helping it in its vain attempt to help the earth;
Yet nothing can be done;
Rainforests are long gone,
The rain hits hard roads.
