Cars, fast cars, zooming down the track,
Red ones, blue ones multicoloured too,
Some will break down, some will hit walls,
Cars zooming down the track.

Half the race is gone,
Drivers are tired, tyres are worn,
Petrol is low,
Now half the race is gone.

The pits, a busy place,
Races can be won or lost,
Change tyres, more petrol in 10 seconds flat,
In the pits, the busy pits.

The race is over, the flag has been waved,
The cars are parked, the engines are off,
The winner is celebrating,
The losers are not.
