The end

No one had seen,
It appeared without warning
Never had it been,
So late in the morning

No where to go,
It had descended here
Within our flow,
With us granting it the clear

For we brought it with us,
From all that we hated
It came without a fuss
For it had been baited

It came because our time
It had inescapably come again
To hear the chime
And break the chain
