She walked a shadow
In the shining sun.
Toward a fate
From which she could not run.

Nought but her eyes
Revealing her true soul.
A shining light,
This from the earth death stole.

The tears, the pain,
Only time can remove.
In my mind, you,
Have a permanent groove.

I miss you my friend
I wish I knew why
I knew you were unhappy
I just wish you’d said goodbye.
