There was an airplane flying high
Among the filthy, grayish sky
And through the misty, mournful air
I walked and looked up in despair
The soldiers seized control of our lives
The gruesome bombs fell in great dives
The bloody red flags and evil schemes
Darkened any childhood dreams
Smoke and gases entered our town
Those awful smells made sweet ones drown
The train tracks howled with monstrous faces
Transporting us to the darkest of places
We once had hope, but it no longer exists
The threat of the enemy strongly persists
Help us! Help us! I heard in the street
We’re desperate! It’s hopeless! We’re all in defeat
