Off to the show

Off to the bus stop we go
To see a movie at the show
Advertising here advertising there
Posters galore, windows, buses, doors.

On the way, we cant run away
It never stops, the consumerism rot
Never stops drilling into your brain
Until its gone all the way

At the show we didn’t know
Products, all around growing in leaps and bounds
We thought to ourself how can we escape
Tim said “lets go”

So we went into the movie only to find
Adds on cars, insurance, peace of mind?
The movie starts we ready to enjoy
But I guess fake reality is still held by its grip.
